Vacuum Casting

Vacuum casting is suitable for small volume plastic parts. Compares with CNC machining, RTV parts unit price is lower. Compares with 3D printing, RTV parts’s material could be as soft as rubber like and durable, the material could be transparent or semitransparent, and the transparency can be adjusted, so it can be used to make seal parts, light pipes. Compares with injection molding, RTV tooling material is silicone rubber, the tooling cost is much lower, and the tooling lead time is much shorter than injection tooling, at the same time, the RTV parts could have similar tooling finishing like injection tooling, for example: polish and texture. All of the RTV’s material is PU, there are many different kinds of PU, so you could have ABS like, PA like, PC like POM like, PMMA like PU to meet different kinds of material requirements.
